Ideal for people new to the hospitality industry, this course offers a combination of customer service skills, food hygiene knowledge, food and beverage service skills and financial transaction knowledge to enable participants to carry out a wide range of duties within a hospitality environment.
Participants will learn how to deal with difficult customers and carry out routine procedures.

Brisbane, Gold Coast or Townsville and other regional areas throughout Queensland.
This course is competency based training, the structure for your training and the attendance required to achieve the qualification will be based on individual circumstances, 6-24 months as an indication.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
Completion of the Certificate II in Hospitality (Operations) THH21802, would give you the foundation to seek employment in the food and beverage division of hotels, restaurants, cafes and bars.
Applicable occupations are:
- Hospitality worker
- Food and beverage attendant
- Bar attendant
The award of Certificate II in Hospitality (Operations) will be given to students who successfully complete the prescribed units.
