If you’re interested in learning about the entire Web design and development process rather than just how to use one software application, then this course is for you. The program is a cohesive approach to creative web design and development using Macromedia’s definitive application suite: Studio 8. The new updated studio collection includes Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Contribute and FlashPaper. The course will look at each of these tools in a manner akin to a Web design studio, moving between each application as demand dictates.
Don't have Studio 8? No problem, you can attend this course if you have access to Studio MX or MX 2004 sofware as the principles covered remain the same.
What You Will Learn
At the conclusion of this course you should have the confidence to work competently with all of the products in the Macromedia Studio Collection and explore them in more detail on your own. The course is an high-level program, however, which spends less than a day on any one application so consider specialised courses if you require more time on individual products. The intention here is to provide an overview of the entire web design and development process and expose you to the major features of each application with a focus on Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks.
This is an intensive course and will move at quite a fast pace. While no HTML or Macromedia experience is required, you'll need a reasonable understanding of the Web and be confident working with the Windows or Mac interface. If you're new to computers, or have difficulty in picking up new concepts, then consider our Basic HTML and Web Design course or talk to us about some private tuition to bring you up to speed.
