Graduates typically proceed to a authorship, journalistic, copyrighter or technical writer role either independently or with a publishing house or press agency.

As a authorship and writing student or graduate at ICI we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to have your very own book published via the publishing division of the Institute. ICI Publishing can arrange for ISBN, copyright registration, cover design and printing aspects. You will also remain the owner of your work and become the recipient of all royalties once your book begins to sell. You are free to write on almost any topic or event, fictional or non fictional that you wish!

Assessment Details

 This course includes in-depth written assessments that you complete as part of your course work and then forward to your tutor. Once your tutor has marked and graded your work you will receive prompt feedback.

Requirements

The great news is that you don't need any previous experience to take this course at any of the two levels it is offered at: Certificate or Diploma.

Certificate or Diploma?

Certificate Level: represent basic vocational skills and knowledge.
Diploma Level: represent fundamental principles, techniques and knowledge. ICI Diploma level qualifications recognise the capacity for initiative and judgment across a broad range of technical and/or management functions.
