Course Overview

The aim of General Safety Induction (White Card) is to provide initial basic health and safety education to all persons working within the building and construction industry.

It is compulsory that you complete this Construction Induction White Card training course to be able to work on a domestic or commercial construction site. Protect yourself and your workmates by being aware of how to increase safety at work. The White Card is nationally accepted so you can work in anywhere in Australia!

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland may issue penalties of up to $3000 for failing to hold an induction card. Construction organisations beware - permitting a person to commence work at a construction site without a White Card carries a maximum penalty of $11,000.

This is nationally recognised training.

Please Note:   Due to current legislation changes the QLD White Card is now recognised as proof of general health and safety induction training for construction work in NSW and VIC. Alternatively, if you currently hold a valid NSW Green/White Card or VIC Red Card, these are now recognised in NSW.
