What you need to bring for the assessment

• Safety Shoes
• Proof of identification i.e. Australian Driving licence or 18 Card
• Completed and signed logbook
• Completed and signed trainging plan
• Assessment Summary (only if the formal training and the theory assessment was undertaken with a different trainging company/ RTO

Assessment Requirements from 1st July 08

What you need to know:

It is a legal requirement from 1st July 08 for all students with or without experience to attend the formal training prior to completing the logbook and training plan. This means that from 1st July 08 we will not be able to accredit experience that has been gained prior to attending the formal training as the legally required workplace experience.

However, experience (i.e. old logbooks, company letters) obtained prior to attending the formal training can be recognized in your training plan, after being validated by us; this may result in a reduction of the legally required logbook hours. This may shorten the time period until you are able to undertake the practical assessment.
