Course Overview
WorkSafe WA has introduced new requirements for safety awareness training for workers working on construction sites in Western Australia. These new requirements come into affect in January 2007. To meet these requirements Paragon Corporate Training has developed this Safety Awareness Training course. This course is approved by the Training Accreditation council of WA and WorkSafe and is subsidised by the Building Industry Construction Training Fund.
This course will enable the participant to receive an accredited certificate which meets WorkSafe requirements to work in the building and construction industry. Participants of this course will gain knowledge and understanding of: Legislative requirements of occupational safety and health legislation in WA and the management of hazards associated with construction work.

80% Rebate Available
The BCITF (Building Construction Industry Training Fund)will provide an 80% refund on the total cost of the course; that means this course will cost you only $19 after refund.
Contact us now to find out if you are eligible for BCITF funding. Trainees must be presently employed in the building and construction industry to qualify for the refund. If you ARE NOT presently employed in the Construction and Building industry you can still do the course but you may not be eligible for a rebate. You can visit the BCTIF website at www.bcitf.org to check the criteria for funding. Or we will send out the eligibility criteria when you place your order.
